Provincial minister without a portfolio Nasreen Khethran tendered her
resignation from the cabinet in protest against the assassination of the wife
and daughter of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Dombki a few days ago. Addressing a press
conference, Nasreen, wife of Sardar Abdul Rehman Khethran, said that there was
no justification for her to retain the cabinet post when women were being killed
by armed assailants. She said that law and order situation had deteriorated in
Balochistan and incidents of violence were reported every now and then. Now
Baloch women were being targeted and in such a situation it would be futile to
remain in the cabinet, she said. The murder of the wife and daughter of Dombki
is a condemnable act, she added
